About the role

Create your Own Ambassadors have a customer-first mindset and are passionate about fashion. Success is achieved by providing personalized shopping experiences that exceed customer expectations while driving business through customer-focused alterations. Create your Own Ambassadors are the entry point for future leadership roles within Ralph Lauren where you can begin to write your Next Great Chapter. This position may be offered as full-time or part-time, depending on candidate availability and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs custom alterations and enhancements using embroidery, patching, and sewing techniques.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to drive sales and support company initiatives.
  • Collaborates with team members to execute business results and maintain shop standards aligned with the Ralph Lauren brand expectations.
  • Utilize your expertise in embroidery and sewing to create unique and inspiring garments for our clientele.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a customer-first mindset.
  • Demonstrate passion and knowledge for fashion and styling.
  • Understand and educate customers on all available programs, initiatives, and offerings.
  • Provide customer service in the fitting rooms area assisting with sizing and maintaining store standards.
  • Utilize Polo Connect program for customer engagement and retention.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of goals and meet or exceed individual KPIs (SPH, data capture) using available tools and resources.
  • Contribute to team sales goals (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  • Maintain store standards on sales floor and back of house (BOH).
  • Complete opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Support operational activities including floor sets and ISOS replenishment.
  • Balance multiple tasks while prioritizing customer experience.
  • Complete required training in compliance, product knowledge, processes, and initiatives.
  • Complete development training courses or programs for personal or professional growth.
  • Support team initiatives to drive business results.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards following company guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to Management on product and category opportunities.
  • Uphold store policies and procedures across all touchpoints.
  • Foster a positive work environment that reflects RL values.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain a sense of belonging and team cohesion.

Requirements

  • Retail experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash wrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.

Pay

Salary range: $15 - $19.72 hourly
