CRE Portfolio Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Aid RMs in analyzing financial statements and assessing borrower creditworthiness.
• Create and prepare credit approval packages for new loan transactions.
• Maintain and monitor financial trends, covenants, and borrowing bases to detect potential credit risks.
• Collaborate with sales and credit teams to structure loan transactions and address underwriting inquiries.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, enhancing their credit expertise and analytical skills.
• Stay updated on market trends, credit policies, and risk mitigation techniques to strengthen credit analysis capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment abilities.
• Basic understanding of loan structuring and credit agreements.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and credit decision tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
