Duties And Responsibilities

• Build, construct and assemble industrial crates.
• Use hand and power tools to cut and assemble materials for crates.
• Assist in the construction of crates using panel saw and up-cut chop saw to cut plywood and lumber.
• Assist in the construction and assembly of crates using pneumatic hand tools such as stapler and nail gun.
• Pack product into crates using miscellaneous packing materials.
• Prepare and close barrier bag material using a hot roller/sealer.
• Strap and band crates and skids for shipment.
• Move and load crates using a forklift.
• Show ability to use hand and power tools and read a tape measure.
• Disassemble and store crating tools and materials after use.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• One (1) year proven experience or comparable field preferably within the construction service industry in carpentry-related work (framing, crating, residential finish work).
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment; hand, power, and pneumatic tools, read a tape measure.
