Crane Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, including systems with advanced components.
• Work on various crane types, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and OEM guidelines.
• Diagnose mechanical parts.
• Repair control circuits.
• Rig equipment.
• Support complex crane systems.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers.

Requirements

• Possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Have technical knowledge of VFDs and control systems.
• Hold relevant certifications or have experience in the field.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Technical training preferred.
