Crane Rental Estimator & Sales Representative – Early Career

Jeffers Crane Service, an ALL Family of Companies branch, is seeking an early-career Crane Rental Estimator & Sales Representative for the greater Detroit area and northern region. This full-time, exempt position offers growth potential in a developing territory and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Occasional overnight travel within the local area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell crane rental services in the greater Detroit area and northern region.
• Evaluate job sites to determine the safest and most efficient crane solutions, then provide professional quotes to customers.
• Coordinate sales efforts by analyzing existing and potential customer volume.
• Submit regular activity and results reports to management.
• Analyze marketplace data on pricing, products, and marketing techniques; recommend service or policy changes based on competitive developments.
• Investigate customer complaints, develop solutions, and make recommendations to management.
• Maintain records of area and customer sales, providing historical reports as needed.
• Stay current with professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and industry resources.

Requirements

• Customer service-oriented with strong communication, closing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage territory, prospect new clients, and deliver presentations.
• Self-confidence, motivation, and the ability to maintain client relationships.
• Product knowledge and familiarity with lift planning software (training provided).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple products is desired.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to the greater Detroit area.
