About the role
Operate top-tier cranes on exciting projects across industries such as construction, oil & gas, power plants, and more. Key responsibilities include safely mobilizing and operating Link Belt Cranes, performing daily tasks, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Safely mobilize and operate Link Belt Cranes
- Pick, move, and place large objects with precision
- Inspect rigging, lifting, moving, and positioning of loads
- Ensure all required inspections, rig-up/rig-down, and emergency situations are resolved in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
- Control the rigging, lifting, moving, and positioning of loads on the crane
- Observe and make certain that loads are safely attached and that weight loads and lifting capacities are within proper limits
- Perform routine safety inspections and continuously inspect crane cables and hooks
- Ensure that worn parts are replaced
Requirements
- A minimum of (0-5) years of Crane Services experience or equivalent/relevant education and experience preferred
- Proficiency with at least one Crane associated application (i.e., wireline, general construction, snubbing, etc.) preferred
- Entry level to some experience in operation of some sizes of cranes
- Class B CDL is required, Class A CDL is preferred
- NCCCO certification or equivalent operator certification with an updated physical card
Qualifications
