Crane Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes, such as Crawler cranes, mobile cranes, truck cranes, and telescoping forklifts, and move materials as needed
• Inspect the crane before and after each use to ensure it is in proper working condition
• Communicate with ground personnel to ensure the safe movement of materials and objects
• Maneuver the crane into the correct positions according to the specific requirements of each job
• Experience driving all Piling types and predrilling operations
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including the materials lifted, distances moved, and any incidents that occur
• Perform routine maintenance on the crane and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Crane Operator
• Valid NCCO Crane Operator certification or license
• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their operating principles
• Able to interpret load charts and understand weight capacities
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to all safety guidelines
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• Physical strength and stamina to operate the crane for extended periods
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
