ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic direction for the woodworking department, aligning goals with overall company objectives.
- Develop and implement long-term plans to enhance craftsmanship, efficiency, and innovation.
- Lead and manage a team of craftsmen, overseeing daily operations and workflow.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, skill development, and collaboration within the team.
- Streamline and optimize woodworking processes to maximize efficiency and output.
- Implement industry best practices to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
- Establish and enforce stringent quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications.
- Oversee the successful execution of woodworking projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and customer expectations are met.
- Explore and implement advanced technologies within the woodworking processes to enhance productivity and precision.
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Act as a point of contact for high-profile customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and provide expert guidance on project requirements.
- Manage the woodworking department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6 – 8 years of distinguished experience in woodworking, with a proven track record of leadership and managerial responsibilities.
- or equivalent military or practical experience.
- Team management and leadership experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
