About the role
The Craft Supervisor supports TOS II at Arnold AFB Tennessee, overseeing and directing multi-discipline craft activities in Aero-propulsion of the Test Operations Directorate.
Responsibilities
- Work with Engineers, Planners and Schedulers to develop work plans and resource requirements, assign work, track work progress to ensure work stays on schedule and within allocated estimates
- Ensure compliance with AEMTC Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
- Build Management – ensure work authorization documents are developed and approved to accomplish work activities such as LOTO, work clearances, hold orders, burn permits & Master Work Permits
- Train and maintain qualifications of the workforce
- Administer wage timecard, vacation and leave programs
- Resolve conflicts among employees, counsel/discipline wage personnel for performance issues and non-conformance of Company Policies and Procedures
- Conduct team safety meetings, monitor craft housekeeping and safety practices, ensuring the workplace meets AEDC, BHN, & OSHA Standards
- Investigate accidents/incidents, complete accident reports, and implement proactive steps to prevent similar incidents
- Focal point for day-to-day coordination of activities within the assigned area
- Obtain and maintain security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
- Manage Craft overtime (OT) process and maintain proper OT list differential IAW CBA
- May be assigned to any other work location/schedule/shift in support of multi-shift O&M work
- Perform general functions inherent in all supervisory positions
- Wear PPE in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 9 years of relevant work experience or 14 years’ commensurate work experience in lieu of degree
- Current U. S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret clearance preferred
- Thorough knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, and other project-related activities, including the interfaces and interdependence within the Eng. & Tech Support Directorate
- Understanding of the AEMTC CBA and Craft jurisdictional lines

- Ability to plan, organize, lead, and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful conclusion
- Able to anticipate change and adjust promptly and effectively
- Able to obtain and maintain security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
