Craft Mechanic Supervisor-Virginia Beach, VA

Position Summary

Lead maritime maintenance operations supporting craft, jet skis, trailers, and related propulsion systems while serving as the senior mechanic/working supervisor at the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead repair and maintenance of craft, trailers, outboards, inboards, jet and propeller drive systems, and associated onboard equipment.
• Support testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, steering, and onboard systems.
• Cook up workflow and provide hands-on leadership to maritime maintenance personnel.
• Support reporting, readiness, quality, and safety requirements for the maritime maintenance mission.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of OEM-certified mechanic experience with commercial outboard engines listed in the PWS.
• At least 1 year of aluminum and GRP/fiberglass hull repair experience for minor and major repairs.
• At least 5 years of troubleshooting/minor repair experience on inboard marine diesel engines identified in the PWS.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
