CPG Sales Analyst-Witchita, Kansas

About the role

This role supports key retail and distribution accounts for Max Distributing, an expanding consumer products distributor.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, inventory, and customer performance data
• Support major retail and distribution accounts
• Aid Account Managers with business reviews and customer presentations
• Create Excel-based reports to identify sales trends and opportunities
• Track promotions, pricing initiatives, and account performance
• Support forecasting and inventory planning efforts
• Maintain customer requests, action items, and project timelines
• Ensure commitments to customers are completed accurately and on time
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Leadership teams to support business growth

Requirements

• Strong Excel skills and experience with sales data
• Hightly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and follow-up skills
• Self-starter willing to take ownership and follow through
• Comfortable working directly with sales teams and customer-facing departments

• 2+ years in:

• Experience supporting retail customers, distributors, grocery, convenience, mass retail, club, or consumer products accounts
• Experience using Excel for reporting, forecasting, or sales tracking
• PowerPoint and business presentation experience
