CPAP CLINICIAN (LPN RN RT)

About the role

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.

Responsibilities

• Verifies prescriptions and equipment settings to ensure prescribed therapy is prepared for delivery to patients in compliance with physician orders.
• Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
• Prepares and maintains a record for each patient, containing physician prescriptions, sleep study reviews, identification of contraindications, verification of settings, and equipment checks, in accordance with Apria’s clinical policies.
• Enters accurate data on vendor compliance monitoring websites for certain respiratory equipment.
• Consults with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical condition, and plan of care relative to the provision of prescribed medical equipment.
• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice to conduct the essential duties and responsibilities in accordance with a physician prescription.
• All required licensure must be maintained in good standing with issuing state licensure board.
