About the role
The Shuttle Driver transports passengers to and from designated pick-up and drop-off locations, ensuring safe operations and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including handling specialized equipment for special needs
- Help passengers load and unload luggage as needed
- Inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions and perform maintenance tasks
- Provide information using electronic devices or manual tickets
- Respond to guest inquiries courteously and provide directions
- Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans
- Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment and disinfect shuttle after each use
- Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions and safety standards
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
- Prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred
Qualifications
- Passenger shuttle driving experience preferred
