Courtesy Bus Driver - CDL Required - FT

About the role

Do you take pride in safe driving and providing a welcoming experience for customers? If you're a CDL-licensed driver who enjoys interacting with people and helping make their journey smoother, join the Avis Budget Group team as a Courtesy Bus Driver at our airport locations. In this role, you'll be one of the first and last impressions our customers have—playing an important part in creating a positive, stress-free rental experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely and efficiently between the airport terminal and our rental car facility
• Greet customers and assist with loading and unloading luggage
• Communicate route information and stop details
• Share next steps in the rental process
• Use strong customer service skills to create a friendly, professional environment
• Follow all safety procedures, driving standards, and DOT requirements to ensure a comfortable and reliable ride

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Chauffeur license may be required depending on location)
• Previous professional driving experience
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, enter, exit, and drive a bus for prolonged periods
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Skills

• 6 months customer service experience is a bonus

$21.50/hour Shift Premium may Apply

This position requires flexibility to work all shifts. Avis Budget Group accepts applications on an ongoing basis for this position, with no anticipated closing date.
