If you’re a CDL-licensed driver who enjoys interacting with people and helping make their journey smoother, join the Avis Budget Group team as a Courtesy Bus Driver at our airport locations. In this role, you’ll be one of the first and last impressions our customers have—playing an important part in creating a positive, stress-free rental experience. This position may be with any affiliate of Avis Budget Group. Located in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely and efficiently between the airport terminal and the rental car facility.
• Greet customers and assist with loading and unloading luggage.
• Communicate route information and stop details.
• Share next steps in the rental process.
• Use strong customer service skills to create a friendly, professional environment while following all safety procedures, driving standards, and DOT requirements.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Chauffeur license may be required depending on location).
• Previous professional driving experience.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, enter, exit, and drive a bus for prolonged periods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Position requires regular, on‑site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• Six months of customer service experience is a bonus.

Pay

$19.50 per hour (shift premium may apply). Bi‑weekly hourly wage (New York and Puerto Rico: weekly wage).
