Courtesy Bus Driver - CDL Required - FT

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Courtesy Bus Driver for airport locations in Flushing, New York.

About the Role

You’ll transport customers safely and efficiently between the airport terminal and our rental car facility. As one of the first and last impressions our customers have, you’ll play an important part in creating a positive, stress-free rental experience by greeting customers, assisting with luggage, communicating route details, and sharing next steps in the rental process.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a courtesy bus between the airport terminal and rental car facility
• Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional environment
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage
• Communicate route information and stop details clearly
• Share next steps in the rental process
• Follow all safety procedures, driving standards, and DOT requirements

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Chauffeur license may be required depending on location)
• Previous professional driving experience
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to sit, stand, enter, exit, and drive a bus for prolonged periods
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months of customer service experience is a bonus

Pay

Minimum hourly rate: $21.00. Shift premium may apply.
