Course Instructor - Internship Project
About the role
The role involves teaching the "Internship" course in the Bachelor's degree in Techniques for Software Development at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Students develop a software project in the context of a real company. The course is entirely conducted in English within an online learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Present, guide, plan, stimulate, focus, motivate, assess, and tie together students' learning processes with a proactive approach.
- Provide teaching assistance to students individually and collectively, monitoring their learning throughout the semester and suggesting improvements to the course.
- Settle doubts, offer examples, and additional explanations to help students understand the subject matter.
- Stimulate debate, encourage participation in forums, correct assessment tests, and provide feedback to support students' learning processes.
- Perform other activities related to the preparation of learning resources.
Requirements
Proficiency in English is required due to the course being taught in English. Knowledge of software development techniques and experience in product management or information law and ethics are preferred.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in higher education and teaching methodologies is beneficial.
