Overview
Rutgers University-Camden seeks Course Developers for the Center for Executive Leadership in Government (CELG), a part of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences. Programs are designed for training managers in non-profit, government, and public service organizations. The training provided includes professional certification and/or professional development for managers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with content experts and instructors to prepare materials for the creation of an online version of courses.
- Provide pedagogical support for new instructors building modules, incorporating public sector-specific examples for cases and course framing content.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop project plans ensuring consistency with CELG's mission and goals, and meeting deliverables as projected.
- Ensure that completed work meets the standards defined by CELG for each work product and is reviewed and approved by the Associate Director, CELG.
- Own the final product, which belongs to Rutgers University and must be produced and used with Rutgers' approval.
Qualifications
- Experience in developing and delivering online educational content.
- Strong understanding of public sector management and leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in creating and managing course materials, including online content, audio/visual presentations, and presentations.
