Course Developer

About the role

To provide program assistance and support to Distance Learning.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with Instructional Designers, instructors and subject-matter experts to develop instructional materials
• Complete tasks assigned to build and develop materials in the LMS course shells
• Ensure the timely development of accessible instructional materials
• Assist with follow-up and support to instructors as they incorporate materials into their courses
• Assist in course design, development and review process
• Assist in the development of training and workshop materials
• Compiles data and produces routine reports or documents
• Provide support for college wide DE activities and events
• Other duties and committee work as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customer service techniques
• Knowledge of multimedia design techniques
• Knowledge of current distance learning technologies
• Skill in maintaining an established work schedule
• Skill in effectively using interpersonal and communications skills
• Skill in effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through
• Skill in entering data, maintaining files, and performing other clerical duties
• Skill in maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Work Space
• Ability to use Learning Management System multimedia design and development tools

Requirements

• Two years related work experience
• Associate Degree or educational equivalent

Preferred education

• Bachelor degree

Pay

• $47,840 - $50,188
