About the role

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
• Area Knowledge: Demonstrated skills preferred
• Lifting Capacity: Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs
• Communication Skills: Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
• Adaptability: Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
• Age: At least 21 years old
• Driving Record: Must meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License: Required in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned
• Medical Exam: Required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations

Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods

Benefits
