About the role
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
- Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
- Area Knowledge: Demonstrated skills preferred
- Lifting Capacity: Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs
- Communication Skills: Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Adaptability: Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- Age: At least 21 years old
- Driving Record: Must meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Required in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned
- Medical Exam: Required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
Benefits
