Courier/Swing Drvr/DOT-1

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of courier experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the station's service area.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements and have a good driving record.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
