Courier/Feeder Agt/DOT

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provides related customer service functions
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• No prior experience required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries per FMCSA enforcement guidance
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position; medical exam required
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Neat appearance required (customer contact)
• Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations required
• Preferred: Must be 21 or older and have held a valid driver's license for the previous three-year period

Pay

Starting at $24.70/hr up to $35.54/hr.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, Full-Time, 8:00 am–6:00 pm. DG Training and Feeder Training required. Position closes on 10/30.
