About the role

Driver/operator of company vehicles responsible for courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages, checking shipments for conformance to FedEx service features, and providing related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries.
• Meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance (customer contact required).

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Consistently able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license for the past two years.
• Successful completion of a federal drug screen and background check.

Pay

Starting pay: $21.05 per hour.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, either 06:30 – 17:30 or 07:45 – 17:30 (equivalent to 6:30 am or 7:45 am start, 5:30 pm end).
