Responsibilities
- Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
- Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Non-covered safety‑sensitive position (medical exam required).
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages weighing over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
Pay
$24.31 per hour.
Schedule
Full Time, Wednesday–Saturday, 08:00–19:00.
