About the role

Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Verify shipments meet FedEx service specifications.
• Provide customer service related to shipments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations (non‑covered safety‑sensitive position).
• Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lb with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human‑relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance for customer contact.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay

USD $21.05 – $31.26 per hour (hourly).

Schedule

Part‑time.
