Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages.
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and provide related customer service functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED.
Licensing
Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lb.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lb with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Good human‑relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance, as customer contact is required.
Requirements
- Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations (non‑covered safety‑sensitive position).
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic‑safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
Pay
$24.21 – $35.96 per hour.
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday – Saturday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
