Counter Server / Front of House

About the role

Our restaurant is looking for a counter server! The restaurant is located in Redmond. This is a part-time position with availability needed Monday–Friday from roughly 9:00 am–2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times
• Learn and master the art of making fresh pasta
• Familiarize yourself with our menu and guide customers through their Due’ experience
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers (UberEats, DoorDash, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain accurate menu inventory across all delivery platforms
• Ensure compliance with COVID-19 precautionary measures in the dining area
• Collaborate with BOH team members or managers to address customer concerns or dissatisfaction with any dish
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas and the pasta lab, especially after pasta preparation is completed
• Greet every customer warmly to ensure they feel welcome
• Other duties as necessary or assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old (alcohol service required)
• Possesses or willing to obtain a current Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Permit
• Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and move quickly
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
• Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
• Ability to work under stress
• Scheduling flexibility
• Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (not required)
