Counter Server / Front of House
About the Role
Join our fun team as a part-time counter server at our Totem Lake/Kirkland location, situated at 12670 120th Ave NE Ste 170, Kirkland, WA 98034. At Due’ Cucina Italiana, we’re passionate about real, fresh, and authentic Italian food. We serve homemade pasta bowls and dishes inspired by Italian tradition, all cooked fresh daily in our in-house pasta lab. Learn more about us at www.duecucina.com.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and uphold company core values at all times.
- Learn and master the art of making fresh pasta.
- Familiarize yourself with our menu and guide customers through their Due' experience.
- Communicate effectively with delivery drivers (UberEats, DoorDash, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate menu inventory across all delivery platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures in the dining area.
- Collaborate with BOH team members or managers to address customer concerns or dissatisfaction with any dish.
- Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas and the pasta lab, especially after pasta preparation.
- Greet every customer warmly to ensure they feel welcome.
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years old (alcohol service required).
- Possess or willing to obtain a current Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Permit.
- Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly.
- Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and knives.
- Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat, and work in a confined area.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Scheduling flexibility.
- Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (not required).

Pay
Competitive compensation based on experience: $25.25-$27.25/hour (base wage of $18.25-$20.25/hour plus an additional $7.00/hour in tips, approximated).
Schedule
Part-time position with scheduling flexibility.
