The Counter Sales Person assists customers during the sales/purchase process and responds to inquiries professionally.
Responsibilities
- Maintain product knowledge and awareness
- Market products and suggest replacements/alternatives
- Work in a safety-sensitive capacity, maintaining constant awareness and safe behavior
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- One year experience in electrical industry or relevant knowledge
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Teamwork and customer service orientation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Use of computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone
- Bend, climb, push, pull, including maneuvering at heights and in tight spaces
- Routine lifting and carrying of work-related materials up to 70 lbs., occasionally more than 70 lbs.
