Counter Sales Person

About the role

The Counter Sales Person assists customers during the sales/purchase process and responds to inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product knowledge and promote all products sold.
• Suggest replacement/alternative products as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products beneficial.
• Strong mathematical ability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Team player.
• Customer service oriented.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Use a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone.
• Bend, climb, push, and pull, including maneuvering at heights and in tight spaces.
• Routinely lift, carry, and transport work-related materials up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
