About the role

The Counter/Inside Sales Person assists customers during the sales/purchase process and responds to inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product knowledge and awareness.
  • Market products and suggest alternatives when necessary.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive position requiring constant awareness and safe behavior.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • One year experience in electrical industry or related knowledge.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Teamwork and customer service orientation.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (a plus).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Use of computer equipment and telephone.
  • Bend, climb, push, pull, including maneuvering at heights and in tight spaces.
  • Routine lifting and carrying of work-related materials up to 70 lbs., occasionally more.
