Counter Sales / CDL Backup Driver

Location: Greenville, SC – White Horse – Retail shop.

Responsibilities

• Take pride in the safe loading, delivery, and handling of high-pressure and cryogenic gas cylinders while maintaining a dedicated commitment to hazardous material safety standards and DOT vehicle inspections.
• Sales & Business Development: Selling industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment. This includes soliciting sales from both new and existing customers.
• Customer Support: Assisting customers via email, telephone, and in-person walk-ins. Providing guidance on equipment usage and material requirements.
• Operations & Logistics: Managing the loading and unloading of cylinders, operating forklifts, and serving as a backup driver when necessary.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to prevent supply emergencies.
• Administrative & Financial: Managing accounts receivable, including discussing past-due accounts and collecting payments. Ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, start time 7 am, home daily. Possible weekends on call.
