Counter Sales

Responsibilities

• Ensure amazing customer service to customers walking in with broken hydraulic hoses/fittings and perform the essential repairs.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse/production type environment.
• Sell solutions/products to customers at the front counter.
• Follow instructions and diagrams to assemble hoses and fittings.
• Conduct quality control checks.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components with tools such as a manual tape measure, calipers, micrometers, cutting tools, automated machinery, and sharp objects.

Requirements

• Experience with hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly of hydraulic hoses.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Warehouse and inventory experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, construction, or assembly role of hydraulic hoses and fittings is preferred.
