Counter Sales

About This Role

If you want to have set work hours Monday - Friday with weekends off and work for a leader in the marketplace. We are seeking a counter salesperson to fill a position with our locally owned contractor & industrial supply business. What You'll Do

• Greet and help customers with their purchases.
• Answer phones and help customers with their orders.
• Mercandise and restock showroom floor.
• Call and follow up with customers.
• Help provide quotes to customers.
• Provide outside sales support.
• Research Non-Stock Item Requests.
• Other projects as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organization skills
• High energy self starter
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to adapt to fill in with other duties as needed.
• Knowledge of tools and supplies used in the commercial construction, manufacturing or fabrication industries. Willing to train the right person.
• Stable work history.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
