Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Program Engineer

About the Role

Provide systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects. Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team to deliver technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA’s Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.
• Perform systems engineering analysis and process management, including development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules.
• Conduct technical performance assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation development.
• Develop electronic attack/protection modeling to support analysis and requirements development.
• Create technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program offices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, and object classification.
• Expertise in electronic protection.
• Master's Degree in a STEM field.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to qualify for a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (desired).
• Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes.
• Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals, including radar limitations.
• Knowledge of electro-optic fundamentals.
• Knowledge of radar hardware and design.
