Counselor/Therapist-Substance Use Treatment

About the role

This role is dedicated to providing counseling services within a substance use treatment facility. The primary focus is on helping clients overcome addiction and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
• Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and communications
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Valid state license to practice as a counselor or therapist
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in substance use treatment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
