About the role
Responsible for managing the pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including inventory management, medication dispensing, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding prescription drug distribution and patient safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and medication management.
- Manage staff performance and provide training as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the state.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy management experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems used in pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding and sterile preparations.
- Understanding of managed care pharmacy practices and insurance claims processing.
Skills
