Counselor Technician - Full Time - Days

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of the program space.
• Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality.
• This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.
• Makes client safety rounds, performing and documenting client safety rounds, including ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).
• Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.
• Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.

Requirements

• Availability to work a Full Time schedule (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm; all new hires are required to attend a one-week ReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process.
• A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state).
• Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.
• Work with a team of dedicated professionals who have been supporting communities for over 50 years.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Work with a team of dedicated professionals who have been supporting communities for over 50 years.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
