Responsibilities

  • Makes client safety rounds, including ADL monitoring and coaching (life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.)
  • Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan
  • Maintains cleanliness of the program space
  • Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality
  • This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records

Requirements

  • Availability to work a FT schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Mon-Fri 7A-3:30P
  • All new hires are required to attend a one-week ReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state)
  • Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law
  • Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
