Counselor Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assigns counselors’ caseloads, amends when necessary
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews
• Direct and supervise all intake operations
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients
• Ensures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics
• Maintain counseling caseload
• Provide direct supervision to clinicians as well as assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service trainings, guest speakers, and reviewing literature
• Acts as Treatment Center Director when he/she is absent
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor
• Identify other physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care

Requirements

• Must have current CAC-AD, LCPC, LCSW, or LCADC as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland
• Must have supervisory letter
• Must have prior supervisory experience, be self-motivated and directed
• Must have previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Pay

Salary ranges from $57,000 - $90,000. This position is non-exempt and overtime eligible with prior approval. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, licensure, and training.
