Counselor's - Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to patients in various settings.
• Offer both individual and group counseling.
• Perform case management as needed.
• Work in outpatient and residential treatment areas.
• May work up to 28 hours per week.
• Residential positions may require weekends and some weekdays.
• Outpatient positions will involve weekday hours and one evening group.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Temporary Counselor positions may work up to 28 hours weekly.
• Starting salary is dependent on education, experience, credentialing, and licensure.
• 1 year to 3 years of experience with a Master’s Degree = $21.66 hourly.
• 3 years to 5 years with a Master’s Degree = $24.25 hourly.
• 5 years or more with a Bachelor’s Degree = $27.17 hourly.
• 5 years or more with a Master’s Degree required.
• Licensure and current Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor certification may result in additional percentage increases.

Pay

Starting salary is dependent on education, experience, credentialing, and licensure. Licensure and current Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor certification may result in additional percentage increases.
