About the role

As a Licensed Outpatient Therapist at Diversus Health, you will share our vision for improving behavioral health care in our communities and grow in an environment driven by our core values. The focus in this role is on clinical confidence and further expanding clinical knowledge and expertise as a licensed professional.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
  • Maintain a minimum of 30 client visits per week for full-time status clinicians.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Diversus Health staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

The environment at Diversus Health is fluid. Roles and responsibilities may be altered to accommodate changing business conditions and objectives. Employees may be asked to perform duties outside of the specific work listed. This position may require you to work standard hours, as well as flexible hours before and after standard hours, and overtime in excess of 40 hours in a work week.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, etc.).
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner, ideally by end of day or within 24 hours; concurrent/collaborative documentation is a plus.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse, high-needs client base.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems.
