Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- At least 1 year of experience providing psychotherapy in a clinical setting
Skills
- Strong communication and listening abilities
- Experience working with diverse personalities and backgrounds
- Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation
- Proficiency in various counseling techniques and interventions
- Understanding of DSM diagnostic criteria
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Conducting mental health evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions
- Making referrals to specialists as needed
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA and state laws
- Communicating with referring providers regarding patient treatment and progress
