Counselor - After School Program

About the role

The Central Clemson Recreation Center is looking for After School Program Counselors to work Monday - Friday from approximately 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, with a maximum of 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead and supervise children in daily program activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Actively participate in and maintain a positive attitude towards all activities.
• Teach and assist in teaching various skills and activities to participants, as well as provide homework assistance.
• Manage minor behavior issues as they arise and communicate effectively with parents/guardians when necessary.
• Auxiliary in ensuring areas used by CCRC participants are organized and cleaned.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be at least 18 years old.
• This position requires drug testing and background check prior to employment.
