About the role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient recovery in a skilled nursing facility. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining daily living skills.
Requirements
- An associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active State License to practice
- Possibly BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
Responsibilities
- Providing therapy services to patients
- Collaborating with healthcare team members
- Supporting patient progress and documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed and certified as a COTA
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
