About the role
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel role at a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining functional independence and performing activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing setting, supporting their recovery and independence.
- Follow a plan of care under supervision.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Washington State COTA license or ability to obtain one.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required).
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Skills
- Competence in ADL training, therapeutic positioning, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
