Cost Estimator / Cost Analyst
About the role
EnTech Engineering, PC is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm devoted to delivering best-in-class design and construction support services for infrastructure and facility projects that strengthen communities nationwide. Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us. The full-time "Cost Estimator / Cost Analyst" will prepare independent estimates, review contractor pricing, evaluate change orders, and support cost tracking for public construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop independent cost estimates.
- Review contractor proposals and pricing.
- Evaluate change orders.
- Review unit-price and time-and-material costs.
- Track project costs and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare cost reports and communicate findings to the project team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in estimating or cost control.
- Experience with public construction projects.
- Experience with unit-price or time-and-material pricing.
- Ability to accurately review contractor proposals, change orders, and project cost data.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in cost estimating or cost analysis.
- ICEAA Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) or Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) certification.
Pay
Estimated Annual Compensation $140,000–$150,000 annually
Location: NYC All Boroughs - Various Locations (This is a full-time on-site position)
