Cost Accounting Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support business decision-making.
• Able to work independently and manage a hands-on individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

• Own product costing activities, including annual cost rolls, new product costing, rate development, and profitability analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing variances, plant costs, and inventory performance while providing actionable financial insights.
• Manage inventory accounting activities, account reconciliations, month-end close support, journal entries, and reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, support operational performance, and enhance reporting accuracy.

Pay

The expected range for this role is $120,000-$150,000 per year. Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
