Cost Accounting Manager

About the role

The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing cost accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost accounting processes and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
