Cost Accounting Manager

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $57.00 to $72.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting activities by maintaining product costing models and supporting pricing and profitability analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing expenses, inventory performance, and operational results to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and cost analyses that support management decision making.
• Support month-end close processes through journal entries, account reviews, and inventory-related reporting.
• Partner with operational teams to evaluate performance metrics and improve financial and operational outcomes.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Bring six or more years of progressive accounting experience, including experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting practices.
• Possess experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
• Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively with enterprise accounting systems.
